The Dalles Omnium | 2026 OBRA Road Race & Time Trial Championships

Introducing The Dalles Omnium, a new 2-day bicycle event on the Oregon road racing calendar! After the smashing success of Rowena Roubaix Oregon State Championships in March of 2025, Team Oregon decided to scale their race promoting efforts to a multi-day event with e8 chip timing and cumulative omnium points scoring.

Unfortunately, due to the Rowena Fire in June 2025 and the devastating damage to the community and road, ODOT is not allowing us to permit a bicycle race on the iconic Rowena Crest. Instead, we are switching to another Dalles area course to the east of town, popularized by the Gorge Roubaix and Cherry Blossom Cycling Classic in the 2000s-2010s.

We will continue to update this page as more details of the race develop. Our BikeReg registration page is under construction and we will link it here when it is live. For now, here are the tentative race details (subject to change depending on permitting bodies). We still need to get into the details with courses and categories - grassroots race promotion is time consuming!

While each race will be a state championship, we will have cumulative point scoring and podium prizes for the 2-day omnium. You will need to be a 2026 annual OBRA member to qualify for the state championship podium.
