My family and I moved to Oregon from Arizona in the summer of 2024. I met some members of Team Oregon through group rides and decided that I should give road racing a go. Really love racing, the challenges that come with it, and being a part of not only the Team but the community that comes along with it. Hoping the Team continues to grow and more people continue to get involved in the cycling community.

I'm originally from Pittsburgh and grew up riding bikes a lot and commuting to work and school. I transformed from a commuter to a racer in 2020 when I moved to Oregon and never looked back. I ride all the bikes - road, grabble, TT, CX, MTB. So stoked on bikes!

I began riding bikes in 2021 during the pandemic as a way to get out and about. The following year, I started to get more serious and did my first race, the OBRA Crit Championship. I got 3rd out of 3 but I was hooked. Since then, I've branched out and I now race road, CX and gravel. 2025 will by my second year on Team O and I'm looking forward to all the racing to come this year.

I’ve been riding bikes my whole life, originally as a way to get around and explore. In 2023, I lined up for my first gravel races and quickly fell in love with racing across disciplines, from road to dirt. I believe cycling brings people together, builds stronger communities, and that racing pushes us to grow, both on and off the bike.

I have been racing since 2016, when I was peer pressured into a team time trial to help the University of Maryland cycling team with conference points. This was a slippery slope, and I eventually dove into the world of collegiate road racing. I moved to Portland in 2022, and joining Team Oregon was the first thing I did. Now, I do race the occasional road, TT, CX, and MTB race, but most of my bike racing includes a swim and a run for some reason.

I came to the world of bike racing in late 2023 shortly after a decade of competitive powerlifting. Starting out with almost zero endurance base, it was a steep learning curve and took tons of training. However, I loved having another competitive outlet after retiring from powerlifting; got addicted to the discipline, hard work, and the process that goes into training; and am so appreciative of the incredible bike community. I joined Team Oregon in early 2024, was introduced to an amazing support system of friends and mentors, and have learned so much through racing and riding with everyone. I am entering my third year of racing and am looking forward to another amazing year of racing/riding as well as giving back to a team that has already given me so much during my short endeavor into the sport.
